Strengthening cooperation in the transport sector at the centre of Moroccan-Gabonese talks

The means of reinforcing cooperation between Morocco and Gabon in the fields of transport and logistics were at the centre of talks, on Thursday 26 January 2023 in Rabat, between the Minister of Transport and Logistics, Mr. Mohammed ABDELJALIL and his Gabonese counterpart, Mr. Brice Constant Paillat.

During this meeting, the two parties reviewed the means of reinforcing and broadening the scope of bilateral cooperation and promoting the exchange of experiences in the fields of transport and logistics.

On this occasion, Mr. ABDELJALIL highlighted the importance of developing cooperation relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Gabon in this field, in addition to promoting the exchange of expertise, experiences and technologies.

He welcomed the fraternal and friendly ties uniting the two countries, like the privileged relations between HM King Mohammed VI and Gabonese President Ali Bongo Ondimba.

According to the Minister, this meeting was an opportunity to come back to the means of further strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the field of transport and logistics, through joint working groups in order to enrich the exchange of expertise, experiences and technologies and improve the performance of the sector in the two brotherly and friendly countries.

For his part, the Gabonese Minister of Transport affirmed that this visit constitutes an opportunity to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the fields of transport and logistics, in addition to the exchange of expertise and experiences in this field.

The cooperation between the two countries will be further strengthened through a partnership agreement covering the transport and logistics sectors, he said.

This meeting also allowed both parties to highlight the distinguished cooperation relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Gabon in various fields, expressing their willingness to further develop bilateral cooperation between Rabat and Libreville in the fields of transport and logistics.
